Heat supply station is an automated unit that transfers heating energy from external heat network (TPP, Russian heating network and boiler house) to heating system, ventilation or hot water supply of apartment and industrial buildings.
Heat supply stations are separated to:
- Module heat supply station ÌÒÏ (block heat supply station ÁÒÏ)
- Central heat supply station (ÖÒÏ)
- Individual heat supply station (ÈÒÏ)
- In boiler houses for heating systems, systems of hot water supply, ventilation in apartment and administrative buildings;
- To provide necessary parameters of heat carriers in technological processes at industrial enterprises

Heat supply station may be used for modernization of old buildings in case changing of heating supply stations as well as heat exchangers and other additional equipment. In case of new building construction it is more profitable to engineer heat supply station and implement individual unit of heat supply station. In the future it will help to significantly reduce total project value due to reduction of capital costs and expenses for heat networks laying.

Module heat supply station is fully finished plant product that allows to connect reconstructed or newly built facilities (apartment buildings) to heat networks in short time.
Engineering and mounting of module heat supply station is carried out on the base of plate heat exchanger TRANTER, SWEP, THERMAKS.
Modules of heat supply stations may be used as separate ready to operate block automated heat supply station for heating system, ventilation system, hot water supply system or may be united on one frame with common automatic adjustment and control to one heat supply system of cottage or hire-rise building.
During engineering of automated heat supply station, automated control of all operating mechanisms of heat supply station as well as remote control of technical process from control unit is provided. Data about operation of heat supply station is fully collected, stored and transferred to operator.
Engineering and mounting of automated heat supply unit is carried out on base of certified technical means, specialized and programmable microprocessor controllers of foreign and local production.
Central heat supply station – heat supply station that services one or more buildings. Central heat supply station provides population with hot and cold water all year and with heat during heating season.
Central heating stations have module construction and are ready to operate this means that they require minimum of works at place of mounting – only linking up to operating networks and start up works. Scope of necessary works is defined by customer and mean only light or sound signal at operator control unit and may provide transferring, control and recordkeeping of all parameters of central heat supply station and remote control of it by means of any known kind of communication.
Equipment of central heat supply station includes the following elements:
- heaters (heat exchangers) - sectional, multi-turn, block type, plate depending on project, for hot water supply keeping required temperature and pressure of water of water supply points;
- Circulating domestic fire- protection and heating pumps;
- Heating and water meter units;
- Instrument piping and valves.
Individual heat supply station is intended for hot water supply, heat supply and/or ventilation of different industrial complexes, at housing and utilities infrastructure facilities and apartment buildings. For system operation it is necessary to link up heat carrier and tap water and also to provide electric energy supply for circulating pumps.
Small individual heat supply complexes are intended for one family houses and small buildings that are linked up to central heat supply network. They are intended for heating of water of hot water supply and heating of premises with total capacity of 40 kW.
Big individual heat supply stations are intended for apartment houses or big buildings. Power of individual heat supply station can be from 50kW to 2MW.
Advantages of automated individual heat supply station:

- Comfortable living conditions are automatically held due to control of heat carriers parameters: temperature and pressure of network water, heating system water and tap water; air temperatures in heating premises (in control point) and open air.
- Paying of heat consumed by each premises is carried out in accordance with calculated outflow due to using of instrument gages.
- There is a possibility to significantly reduce costs of systems inside house due to changeover to pipes of smaller diameter, application of non-metal materials, house-to-house heating.
- In some cases, allotment of land for building of central heat supply station is excluded.
- Heat economy is provided; mounting costs are reduced due to full industrial construction. Payback period is less than two years. Economy of heating energy is up to 20-30 %.
Heat supply stations engineering

Reconstruction of heat supply station
Most of heat supply stations that provide service to houses and enterprises were stated up a long time ago. Eventually, equipment deteriorates, technologies become old and new technological solutions appear automatics are being implemented. Central heat supply stations and individual heat supply stations need a reconstruction and modernization.
Reconstruction of central heat supply station consists of changing of heat exchanging equipment that has failed or become old to new one. Reconstruction of central heat supply station means implementation of automatic control systems of local or foreign production which are keeping necessary operation mode of heat supply station.
Adjustment of individual heat supply station and central heat supply station consists in adjustment of automated control systems of heat supply station. These systems provide fail free operation with required parameters and provide compliance with parameter chart. Twenty-four-hour monitoring of heat supply station operation is carried out by means of automated control system.
At adjustment of individual and central heat supply stations, start up of heat supply system and definition of its mode occur. Central (individual) heat supply station adjustment specialists adjust heat supply station operational mode and operational parameters of system in accordance with parameters chart. Then Individual (central) heat supply station operates in set mode.
