Roof mounted boiler units – boiler houses are located on the roof of a building or on a special substructure mounted over the roof.
Designation
Roof boiler houses are intended for production of heat carrier and hot water supply in heating system of separately located facilities (apartment buildings, industrial and administrative buildings); without permanent presence of service personnel. It is especially profitable to build such units in districts of high-class housing, infill construction and reconstruction. These districts are usually situated in the center of big cities. Existing heat networks do not allow providing heat to erecting houses. Compact planning and high value of land make it impossible to construct land boiler houses.
There is a range of express conditions for production and using of roff mounted water heating boiler houses for heating and hot water supply to industrial, administrative and apartment buildings:
- General heating power of a unit shouldn’t be higher than 3.0 MW. Temperature of a heat carrier shouldn’t be higher than 115 С°. Heating power of a boiler house shouldn’t exceed needs of the building for which boiler house was constructed.
- In some cases if there is confirmed technical economic substantiation it is possible to use autonomous boiler house to provide a few buildings with heat giving that overall heat load of additional consumers will not exceed 100% of main building main heat load.
- Certified ready to operate automated heat generators of local or native production should be used as source of heat generation.
- Roof mounted boiler houses should be protected form unauthorized access inside because they operate without service personnel. Project documentation for boiler houses building should be approved by local state inspection agencies.
Building of roof mounted boiler houses may have stationary block-module construction Stationary buildings and constructions may be raised from easy build-up constructions (it is advisable to raise main buildings at the time of construction).
Block-module boiler house is a module building and is supplied to customer’s site as turnkey block. Linking up and coupling to networks and communications of manufacture are carried out at preparatory site by qualified erection crew.
Ready to operate boiler houses are equipped with automated control and safety system, consumption account unit of gas, electric energy, generated heat, cold and hot water. Heat units for certain facility heated by boiler house are additionally supplied.
In accordance with customer terms of reference IG “Generation” specialists may engineer, produce, mount a roof mounted boiler house and obtain it for guarantee and post guarantee maintenance.
