Oil-gas vertical water-tube steam boilers with natural circulation series DE, output: 4; 6,5; 10; 16 and 25 tons/hour, are designed to generate saturated or superheated steam, used for industrial process needs. They are also applied at heating, ventilation systems and hot-water supply systems.

Boilers are supplied in a module including upper and lower drum with inner devices, tubular screen system and convection tube bank (and steam super-heater, if necessary), support frame, insulation and lining.
DE, ME series boiler structural design.
Boiler combustion chamber situated aside of convective bundle of vertical tubes, expanded in the upper and lower drums. The main component parts are upper and lower drums, convective bundle, front and side screens, altogether making a furnace.
Boilers of 4; 6,5; 10 tons/h capacity have single-stage evaporation circuit. Boilers of 16 and 25 tons/h capacity have double-stage evaporation circuit. Second evaporation stage has convective bundle gas tubes and non-heated downcomers.
Super-heater for boilers of 6,5 and 10 tons/h capacities made as coil pipe. Super-heater for boilers of 16 and 25 10 tons/h capacities made as vertical, drainable double-row tubes.
Economizers made of steel or cast iron are used as tail heating surfaces of boilers.
When liquid fuel operated, boilers are equipped with systems of heating surface cleaning.
Boilers have supporting frame transmitting loads to foundation. Boiler elements temperature dislocated freely when lower drum front support fastening being fixed and movable bolt fastenings of tail support to the boiler frame.
Boilers are equipped with two spring safety valves. One of the valves is a control valve.
The boilers w/o super-heater have both valves mounted on the upper drum and one of them can be chosen as control valve. On the boilers with super-heater a valve of super-heater inlet header operates as control valve.
Operation parameters.
Nominal steam output and steam parameters as per GOST ÃÎÑÒ 3619-82 are provided at feed-water temperature 100°C and at burning of the following fuel: natural gas with burning specific heat 29300-36000 kJ/kg (7000-8600 kCal/m3), fuel oil, type M40 and fuel oil, type M100 as per GOST 10588-75.
Adjustment range 20-100% of nominal steam output. Momentary operation under 110% load is permitted.
Boilers superheat temperature maintaining with super-heaters is allowable under the load 70-100%.
The DE type boilers could operate under pressure 0,7-1,4 MPa. If operated in boiler-houses to produce saturated vapor without strict requirements to the steam, steam output at pressure decreased to 0,7 MPa can be the same as at pressure of 1,4 MPa.
Throughput capacity of safety valves meets nominal boiler output at minimum pressure of 0,8 MPa.
Quality standards for feed-water and steam should meet the regulations of Governmental Engineering Supervision (Gosgortehnadzor).
Salt concentration of boiler water at the first evaporation stage of boilers without super-heaters shouldn’t exceed 3000 mg/kg, and the same for boilers with super-heaters shouldn’t exceed 2000 mg/kg. Salt concentration of boiler water in the second evaporation stage shouldn’t exceed 4500 mg/kg.
Average overhaul life of boilers at operation at stated power of 2500 hours/year is 3 years. Average service life is 20 years.
Boilers are supplied fully assembled without on-pipe insulation. Boilers with fixing elements are shipped in 1-B size railway cars, approved for transportation by standard-gauge railways within the CIS territory.
