On the basis of KSV “Generation” boilers we produce automated boiler plants with different capacity. The main function of the automated modular boiler plant is to maintain set temperature of the heat transfer medium in the heating system and in the hot water supply system. Boiler plants consist of metal container with mounted boilers, heat exchangers, pumps, automation systems and water treatment system. They can be mounted on the ground (building roof) on the light foundation at the heat user. Plants are used as stationary independent heat supply source or as a stand by boiler plant to be used in case of heat shortage or central heating system disconnection.

Modular boiler plants are characterized by the top-level engineering solutions of boilers and module compactness, high level of automation and safety.

In the boiler plants we use up-to-date pump equipment by European and Russian producers, high quality fittings, safety valves and gas equipment. Smoke pipes are made of steel, thermally insulated, with protection against atmospheric precipitations. Gas flow registrations instruments are used in the gas supply system of the boiler plant.
Modular system has a steel frame and covered with heat insulation plate “sandwich” type, thickness 100-200mm, according to the Preventive fire-fighting regulations and severe Northern climatic conditions. It is complete with ventilation equipment and heating system.

Automated dispatcher operation control of the modular boiler plant complex (ASDU KMK) can effectively control the boiler in the operatorless mode.

ASDU KMK functions include:
  • Cascade and modulated boiler operation control
  • Data transmission channel arrangement from the operator station to master controllers of each boiler in the real-time mode
  • Providing the interface for technical process control, boiler assembly control and current process parameters control
  • Boiler operation registration, data archiving and storage

Automation system functions

  • Boiler start and stop in automotive and manual mode:

    1. automotive mode – boiler heat efficiency control to maintain set temperature of the heat water
    2. manual mode – boiler water temperature maintenance using thermostat on the boiler control panel
    3. heat transfer medium temperature flexible setting according to the set temperature map as well as the heat transfer medium heat emission

  • Boiler stop when operating conditions are disturbed:

    1. water pressure increase or decrease above the acceptable level
    2. boiler temperature increase above 115±5ºÑ
    3. circulator emergency shut down;
    4. smoke suction fan emergency shut down

  • Data display

    1. boiler operation data and operation parameters come to the dispatcher data panel and boiler controller LCD  panel

  • Optional functions (independent subsystems):
    1. monitoring of CH2 and CO density in boiler-house and cutting off of gas supply to boiler-house if densities exceed maximum permissible (maximum concentration) limits;
    2. fire-protection monitoring of in boiler-house, turning on acoustical and light signals on operator’s panel;
    3. security functions – access control to boiler-house and detection of unauthorized access into boiler-house with  emergency signal actuation at operator’s panel.
