
Usage
Tube type block-module furnaces PTBM are used as functional block of oil, oil emulsion, stratal water and their mixtures heating, included into oil preparation and transportation unit.
Modification of PTBM-2,5 VA, PTBM – (2,5xN)VA furnaces is for heating of stratal water in reservoir pressure maintenance system at oil fields.

Tube type block-module furnace PTBM-2,5N (PTBM-2,5N VA) consists of the following main parts:
- PTBM-2,5 (PTBM-2,5 VA) module;
- piping arrangement (product, gas);
- access platform with stepladders;
- Automation system.
Device and operation
Block module PTMB furnace can include one or more PTBM-2,5 (PTBM-2,5VA) integral modules that are connected to each other by pipelines, cables and power wires and also by control and automation wires at place of application.
Each module consists of heat-exchanger chamber, basement and exhaust stack.
Heat exchanging chamber is constructed as metal heat sealed body. Product coil is situated inside it.
Heat exchanging process between fuel gas combustion products and heated interior medium is carried out in heat exchanging chamber. Exhaust stack is set on the top of heat exchanging chamber.
Basement is a frame construction on which lower basement heat exchanging chamber is fastened. Combustion chamber with locking and regulating gas fittings and ventilator with air duct and control valve are mounted inside.
In upper part modules are connected to furnace access platforms. Raise to it is carried out by means of step ladders. Product coils of modules depending on technological processes requirements can be bound to each other in series or in parallel. Standard furnace enclosure meant for parallel modules connection.
Fuel gas modules are hooked up from common gas distributing station.
Automation system is constructed according to block functional principle. It is complex of means of testing, control and signaling placed on technical part of a furnace (lower level) and also in equipment module facility (medium level). Equipment module is a heated facility with control cabinet, power box, heating and lighting system inside it. Controller with input\output units, auxiliary relays, non contact reversing-type starter and set of clamp joints rows for field equipment hooking up. At this level in accordance with program in controller, processing of input analogue and digital signals, control instructions issue to actuating unit and also functions of automatic operation of mode, blocking and protection are implemented.
Furnace is intended for product heating that flows through coil pipes by warmth given by combustion products in working place of heat exchanging chamber and liberated during gas combustion in combustion chamber.
